CMA - Certified Medication Aide

Princeton Medical Lodge is dedicated to providing superior skilled nursing and post-acute care. We are currently recruiting a detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our clinical team.

This role is critical to our daily operations, serving as the frontline for safe medication practices. We are seeking a professional who values structure, strictly adheres to clinical protocols, and treats residents with the utmost dignity.

Schedule & Availability This position offers a consistent Day Shift schedule. This structure is designed to provide continuity of care for our residents and predictable working hours for our staff.

• Shift Times: 8am - 8pm
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration:

Administer prescribed medications to residents in strict accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and facility protocols.

• Clinical Vigilance:

Monitor residents for adverse reactions, side effects, or changes in condition, reporting immediately to the Charge Nurse.

• Documentation Integrity:

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records of medication administration in the resident's chart.

• Safety & Compliance:

Uphold the highest standards of infection control, medication security, and patient safety at all times.

• Resident Interaction:

Provide care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring resident privacy and rights are respected.

Candidate Qualifications

• Licensure:

Must hold a current, active State of Texas Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.

• Experience:

Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting is preferred.

• Skills:

Demonstrated ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with licensed nursing staff.

• Professionalism:

A track record of dependable attendance and a commitment to clinical excellence.
