Integrity Human Services provides direct individualized care and supportive services for persons living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), thus enhancing their ability to live independently within a caring home environment and as integral members of the community. Integrity Human Services offers residential services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in homes throughout neighborhoods in the region. Our homes offer 24-hour staff support and can accommodate 1-3 people. Staff support individuals in their homes with activities of daily living, personal care, community integration and individual life goals. We stand by the integrity of our company, the quality of our services and the respect and care of each individual we service. Integrity Human Services is a small provider headquartered in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.

Primary Purpose: Assists individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in their daily living, program needs, emotional and behavior needs, with a focus on providing quality care to each individual; while assisting them to reach their greatest level of independence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists/coaches/ monitors each individual with their daily living needs such as: bathing, personal hygiene care, dressing etc.

• Reinforces positive behaviors and promotes social interaction with the individuals served by modeling appropriate behavior.

• Assists at meal time, while monitoring the diets of each individual and adhering to their dietary restrictions and mealtime supervision needs.

• Accompanies individuals while in their communities; providing transportation, ensuring safety, assisting in purchases as necessary.

• Assists in implementation of therapeutic activities, such as; physical exercises, mass or church functions, arts and crafts, and recreational games.

• Attempts to meet the emotional and behavior needs of each individual; following the intervention strategies identified in the Behavior Support Plan (where applicable);

• Completes daily documentation such as; progress notes

• Additional responsibilities include providing a safe and sanitary environment, assisting individuals with daily living activities, assisting with achieving successful goals and outcomes, daily documentation, therapeutic and rehabilitating activities.

• Assist Program Specialist in the assessment of each individual's abilities, interests and need areas toward independent living. Assist Program Specialist in the development of each ISP. Staff behavior and interaction with individuals shall be directed towards the attainment of goals set forth within each ISP.

• Assist/monitor/teach individuals(s) in budgeting skills.

• Assist/monitor/teach individuals engaging in chores, such as making their bed, laundry, washing their dishes etc.

• Supervise, assist residents in punctual attendance of scheduled daily programs, i.e., school, church, therapy sessions etc.

• Assist/monitor/teach individuals as needed in grocery shopping, menu planning, meal preparation and clean up.

• Meet with individuals (as needed) on an individual basis to discuss concerns, problems.

• Assist/monitor/teach individuals in holding house meetings and informal discussion groups with peers.

• Handle emergency situations appropriately. Utilize crisis interventions when necessary.

• Teach and/or support individuals in utilizing public transportation.
