Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve food items, ensuring quality standards and food safety regulations are met
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling surfaces in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service flow

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or food handling in cafes or grocery stores is highly desirable
