Scanner - Part-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Document Scanner. This part-time role focuses on converting physical documents into digital files using Canon production scanning software and organizing them within Laserfiche by applying accurate metadata. The ideal candidate will work quickly and precisely to meet performance goal targets, while maintaining a high level of accuracy. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate Canon production scanner and scanning software to digitize physical documents. 
• Upload and index scanned files in Laserfiche, ensuring proper metadata tagging for easy retrieval. 
• Review scanned documents for quality and accuracy; identify and correct errors promptly. 
• Maintain productivity standards and meet performance goals for speed and accuracy. 
• Handle confidential information securely and in compliance with company policies. 
• Collaborate with team members and report progress to supervisors as needed. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)

• Experience with or willingness to quickly learn document scanning tools 
• Familiarity with Laserfiche or similar document management systems (preferred, not required) 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly. 
• Comfortable working with various computer software tools and systems. 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet performance targets. 
• Excellent organizational skills and commitment to accuracy. 

OTHER INFORMATION

• This is an 8am to 5pm position up to 29 hours/weekly
• Overtime must be a pre-approved by leadership
