Senior Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the estimation process for diverse construction projects, ensuring accurate cost projections and competitive pricing strategies. Your expertise will drive project planning, support bidding efforts, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects. Duties

• Prepare comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and drawings using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather accurate pricing data.
• Develop detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
• Manage bid submissions by ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time while maintaining meticulous records of all estimate components.
• Assist in contract negotiations by reviewing terms related to scope of work, pricing structures, and project schedules to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION NEEDED. We are happy to train new hires
• Proficiency in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and material pricing
• Ability to analyze blueprints, specifications, and subcontractor bids
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with construction software and tools is a plus (Procore)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and team collaboration
• Knowledge of local building codes and construction best practices
• Experience with vendor and subcontractor coordination is a plus
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Eagerness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
