Facility Maintenance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for basic ongoing maintenance repairs to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for our employees and customers. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of tasks including troubleshooting issues, routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Duties and Responsibilities:

-Light Plumbing to include installation of new toilets and urinals, P-traps, faucet installations, leaks, use of drain snakes, etc.

-Light Electrical work to include receptacle and switches, light bulb changes fixtures.

-Light HVAC to include filter changes.

-Lock repairs, replacing handles, door locks, magnetic locks, doors, etc.

-All building maintenance including tile, minor framing, painting, minor dry wall, etc.

-Minor repairs to fencing.

-General maintenance work including, but not limited to cleaning drains, plunging toilets, installing blinds, etc.

-Daily groundskeeping includes trash pick-up, fallen limbs and shrubs clean up.

-Inspect buildings, appliances, and systems regularly for any signs of damage or wear and tear.

-Attend Daily ZOOM meetings/conference calls with Supervisor and peers.

• Maintain maintenance supplies inventory and place orders to supervisor WEEKLY.

-Overtime and on-call required.

• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and communicating daily with supervisor.

-Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.

Requirements:

-Prior experience as an apartment maintenance technician or in a similar role.

-Available to work on weekends if required.

-Maintain DAILY detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

-Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

-Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in residential painting, drywall, cleaning techniques.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational degree preferred.

• Must be able to pass a background and drug test.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
