Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Technologist to join our clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory management skills, extensive experience with various laboratory techniques, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and physiology.

Duties

• Maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, analyzers, and microscopes; perform routine calibration and quality control checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to blood sampling, venipuncture, phlebotomy, and handling of biological specimens.
• Support laboratory management tasks, including inventory control, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Monitor as needed during specimen collection or patient interactions in the office setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results within the context of patient care.

Requirements

Certified Medical Technologist with a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

Weekend Rotation

Phlebotomy experience preferred.

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and blood sampling procedures, including venipuncture and phlebotomy.
• Ability to perform laboratory procedures accurately while maintaining aseptic techniques and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
