About the Estimator Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and play a key role in the planning and financial success of our projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating materials and labor requirements, and collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Experience in construction estimating, cost control, and industry-standard estimating software is essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of Estimating Department.- Obtains bids from subcontractors.
- Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates.
- Prepares weekly bid calendar and ensures timely completion of estimates.
- Reviews estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
- Reviews construction documents and understands scope of work to bid.
- Obtain pricing for materials.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong ability to analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Proficiency in quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimating for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Excellent understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling
Advanced mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify scope gaps, risks, and cost drivers
Effective communication skills for working with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors
Ability to prioritize multiple estimates and meet tight bid deadlines
Strong negotiation skills when reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
Proficient in estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management tools
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $85K to $150K (Depending on experience)
