Position Overview

We're seeking a motivated and creative Digital Content Assistant to support marketing, e-commerce, and content development efforts across multiple digital platforms. This role blends hands-on content production with creative storytelling—assisting in product and lifestyle photography, video shoots, editing, and social media publishing while maintaining brand consistency and organization.

Ideal for a technically skilled yet creatively curious individual, this position offers an opportunity to build professional experience in digital content creation, social media marketing, and visual storytelling within a collaborative setting.

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production

  • Assist in planning, capturing, and editing photo and video content for e-commerce, social media, and brand campaigns.
  • Support studio and on-location shoots (lighting setup, camera operation, file management).
  • Edit and retouch product and lifestyle imagery for digital use.
  • Prepare and organize content assets for use across web, social, and email platforms.

Social Media & Copy Support

  • Draft and schedule posts across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) using established brand tone and style.
  • Write or refine captions, hashtags, and short-form copy that align with brand voice.
  • Assist in community engagement by monitoring comments and messages.
  • Help repurpose long-form content into reels, clips, shorts, and story posts.

Creative Collaboration

  • Work alongside the marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency in all creative outputs.
  • Contribute ideas to campaign brainstorming sessions and seasonal creative planning.
  • Track engagement metrics and support analysis to understand what content performs best.
  • Maintain digital file organization, content calendars, and photo/video archives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in digital content creation, photography, or marketing support (internships or personal projects welcome).
  • Basic to intermediate skills in DSLR or mirrorless camera operation, composition, and lighting.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator).
  • Understanding of social media platforms and trends in visual storytelling.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Some experience with short-form video editing or motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with email campaign tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of paid social or ad content formatting.
  • Interest in brand storytelling and learning content strategy fundamentals.

  • Cameras: DSLR and Mirrorless
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator (After Effects a plus)
  • Content Creation: Blender, Maya, 3D Experience
  • Social Media Tools: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube
  • Project Tools: Asana, Later, Planoly, Plann, Dropbox, etc. or similar scheduling and asset management platforms

Summary

This is an opportunity to build foundational experience in digital content production and brand storytelling within a collaborative, hands-on creative environment. You'll gain exposure to every stage of content creation — from concept and shoot to editing and publication — while helping bring the brand's voice and visual identity to life across channels.

Pay: $ $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
