Overview:

Our CNC department includes horizontal mills, vertical mills, lathes, grinders, and saws. Due to business expansion and growth strategies, we are adding to our CNC team.

Essential Functions for Machinists

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine a wide variety of precision parts
• Set up CNC machines, including determining workholding, selecting and setting tooling, loading program, stepping through process of making first piece, inspect, make adjustments as needed.
• Possess proficiency in use of hand tools.
• Inspect parts to ensure conformance to print, complete quality inspection checksheet
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as maintaining coolant, checking lubricant levels, ensuring lubricant is reaching lube points. Maintain records of work done.
• Maintain safety by following all safety rules and procedures and adhere to company safety policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• 2 plus years of experience operating CNC machinery
• Proven record of dependability and willingness to learn
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height stands
• Strong knowledge of basic math and mechanical principles
• Proven record of dependability and willingness to learn
