Host/Hostess Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage the seating chart and waitlist to ensure efficient table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house and lobby area at all times.
• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to manage flow and table readiness.
• Assist with menu presentation and basic guest inquiries about food, drink, or specials.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere.
• Monitor guest experience from arrival to seating, resolving minor issues quickly and gracefully.
