Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes.
• Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative dessert menus for catering and restaurant.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring all kitchen tools, including knives, are properly maintained.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and ordering supplies as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends in pastry cooking to continually enhance skills and offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
• Proficiency in various baking techniques and pastry preparation methods.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
