Store Manager

A Store Manager for Kitchen Cabinets oversees the daily operations of a retail showroom, managing both a sales team and the technical aspects of kitchen whole and waeehouse management. Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Drive store profitability by meeting sales targets for cabinets, countertops, vanities, and flooring.
• Design Expertise: Use computer-aided software (typically 2020 Design) to create custom kitchen layouts and accurate renderings for clients.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate sales associates; conduct performance reviews and manage staffing schedules.
• Project Oversight: Coordinate with warehouse staff, installers, and contractors to ensure orders are fulfilled and projects are completed to customer satisfaction.
• Operations & Inventory: Maintain a clean, inviting showroom and manage inventory levels, including the loading or offloading of product.
• Business Development: Proactively pursue relationships with contractors, real estate investors, and builders to generate repeat business.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Usually requires 3–15 years in kitchen cabinet sales or retail management in a construction/home improvement environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of cabinet construction (framed vs. frameless), materials, and finishes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication for explaining product features and resolving customer issues.
• Education: College or MBA plus; a degree in interior design or business management is often preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $150,000.00 per year
