Über

The Animal Medical Clinic, a thriving, small animal practice located in Carpinteria, is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician or a Veterinary Assistant to help us continue our tradition of high-quality veterinary care. Your duties will include assisting the doctor with patient care and treatment, preparing and monitoring surgical and dental patients, caring for hospitalized and boarded pets and helping to maintain the equipment, facilities and inventory. You will be working closely with our clients and their pets in the exam room and good interpersonal skills are a must. From time to time you may be asked to assist the front desk and will be cross-trained in such skills as answering inbound calls and processing clients. If you are a Licensed Technician you will have additional duties (and salary) commensurate with your training and experience.
