Datavanters bring a diversity of professional, educational and life experiences to realize our bold vision for healthcare./ppYou will:/pulliReceive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies and procedures./liliMaintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information./liliMaintain working knowledge of company and facility software./liliAdhere to the companys and customer facilities code of conduct and policies./liliInform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes./liliAssist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required./liliConsistently apply medical privacy regulations to guard against unauthorized disclosure./liliManage patient health records./liliSafeguard patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards./liliPrepare new patient charts, gathering documents and information from paper sources and/or electronic health record./liliEnsure medical records are assembled in standard order and are accurate and complete./liliCreate digital images of paperwork to be stored in the electronic medical record./liliRespond to requests for patient records, both within the facility and by external sources, retrieving them and transmitting them appropriately./liliAnswering of inbound/outbound calls./liliMay assist with patient walk-ins./liliMay assist with administrative duties such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry./liliMeet productivity expectations as outlined at specific site./liliMay schedule pick-ups./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpWhat you will bring to the table:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliAbility to commute between locations as needed./liliAble to work overtime during peak seasons when required./liliBasic computer proficiency./liliComfortable utilizing phones, fax machine, printers, and other general office equipment on a regular basis./liliProfessional verbal and written communication skills in the English language./liliDetail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records./liliStrong data entry skills./liliMust be able to work with minimum supervision responding to changing priorities and role needs./liliAbility to organize and manage multiple tasks./liliAble to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment./liliBonus points if:/liulliExperience in a healthcare environment./liliPrevious production/metric-based work experience./liliIn-person customer service experience./liliAbility to build relationships with on-site clients and customers./liliComfortable bringing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders./li/ul/ulpWe are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive. Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. The estimated salary range for this role is $15.00 - $18.32. Comp target is between $16.00 - $17.00 for this role. Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role. The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is: $15$18.32 USD./ppTo ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case-by-case basis.
