Digital Marketing Manager/Lead, Worcester, £Depends On Experience.
This successful company is one of the leaders within their field. They are now looking to further increase their online presence and as such are seeking to appoint an experienced all round Senior Digital Marketer who can take ownership of the companys entire marketing development. This role involves creating and shaping the digital vision and direction of the company, with initial emphasis on leading digital expansion by planning and executing all digital marketing channels and strategies. You will devise and implement content building strategies (both video and written) with a focus on SEO optimization to improve the companys search and social presence. You will also manage, optimise and build the existing Magento e-comm platform and new channel campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Developing, executing, optimising and reporting on an acquisition strategy and campaigns to increase site traffic, drive profitable sales, recruit new customers, and manage online reputation.
Content Marketing: develop a content strategy, create written and video content for publication on the website and other digital channels to drive traffic, increase authority, and improve search and social presence.
PPC: creating effective and targeted ad campaigns to penetrate the market and improve ROI.
SEO: ensure SEO best practices and roadmaps, conduct keyword and competitor research, develop metadata strategies, oversee technical SEO changes, monitor and audit the website, and continuously improve digital strategy.
Social Media: develop and run strategies to grow organic and paid presence; manage UGC strategies and engage with the community.
E-comm Management: manage and improve the Magento platform (CMS, catalogue, blog); lead website improvements with 3rd party developers to improve SEO, UX, and conversion rates.
Remarketing: maximise customer value via automation, targeting, retargeting and segmentation for email marketing and site promotions.
Data and analytics: maintain, develop and implement measuring, tracking and reporting tools to analyse site performance, demonstrate ROI, and recognise patterns across campaigns.
Tag Manager and data integration: contribute to current Google Tag Manager setup and future data integration between systems (may involve managing 3rd parties).
Reviews: manage review campaigns and respond to customer reviews (including third-party platforms).
Share digital know-how with other staff to move the company forward.
Print elements may be involved in future brochures.
Requirements
Content and SEO expert with the ability to create and execute a campaign strategy and a track record of delivering tangible results.
Digital Marketing background.
The company website is Magento; working knowledge of this platform and extensions is essential.
Strong user of Adobe apps, particularly Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Advanced user of Google apps (GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Center, Ads, YouTube).
Advanced knowledge of social channels, particularly Meta and TikTok.
Strong knowledge of Canva.
Strong knowledge of current SEO best practices and strategies.
Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Strong knowledge of PPC and social media campaigns with the ability to work on campaigns alongside an e-commerce site.
Experience implementing effective link development techniques and strategies.
High level of computer literacy and self-management.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Excellent presentation, communication and written skills.
Ideally holding a Degree in Marketing or IT.
Full, clean driving license and transportation.
