This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the smooth running of our warehouse, including receiving, stocking, picking, and packing. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands. We provide comprehensive training and expect all employees to utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming merchandise.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring protection of goods during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Contribute to team efforts by assisting colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and using PPE correctly.
- Basic understanding of inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as required by business needs.
