Do you have experience operating a Reach Truck? Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility is searching for a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our dedicated logistics team. This critical role involves maneuvering materials throughout the warehouse, safely and efficiently storing and retrieving inventory. The ideal candidate will possess excellent spatial awareness, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Safely load and unload materials from trailers and racking systems.
- Ensure all items are stored correctly and efficiently within designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment operation and logistics.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Follow all guidelines for the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a Reach Truck is essential.
- Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics principles.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
