Are you an experienced Forklift Operator? We have an immediate opening in our San Francisco, California warehouse. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials and inventory within our facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your precision and adherence to safety regulations are paramount. You will be an essential part of our logistics team, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to shipping. We provide all required PPE and prioritize a safe working environment. This position involves significant lifting (via forklift) and requires focus and skill. A valid forklift certification is required, and prior experience is strongly preferred. If you are a safety-conscious professional with a proven track record, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from various warehouse levels.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and use all assigned PPE correctly.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (material handling with forklift).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Excellent knowledge of forklift operating procedures and safety best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to wearing and maintaining PPE .
- Good communication skills.
