We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our Provo, Utah facility! In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment goods arrive. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading trucks, meticulously checking shipments against documentation, and promptly recording all received items into our **logistics** management system. Maintaining a safe and orderly receiving dock is paramount, along with the correct use of **PPE**. This position requires individuals with strong organizational skills, a commitment to **safety**, and the ability to handle physical tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight.
- Accurately match received goods to purchase orders and packing lists.
- Document all incoming inventory, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Label and stage incoming materials for put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, warehouse staff, and carriers.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of **PPE** at all times, including **safety** vests and footwear.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with **logistics** procedures and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse **safety** best practices and **PPE** usage.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
