Are you an energetic and meticulous individual seeking an opportunity in San Francisco, California? We are hiring Order Pickers to join our dedicated warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your role is fundamental to our logistics process, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. Join us and be a vital part of our efficient supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize scanning devices and pick lists to accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
- Handle all merchandise with care to ensure quality and prevent damage.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity to meet performance standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Communicate any issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Demonstrate understanding and application of safe Lifting techniques.
- Contribute positively to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse technology is a significant advantage.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform regular Lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to PPE requirements and safe Lifting practices.
