We are seeking reliable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items accurately based on customer orders or internal requests.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to all safety rules.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Comply with all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving manual Lifting and material handling, utilizing safe techniques.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the broader logistics and supply chain functions within the facility.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is a plus.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics concepts.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards and wearing required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
