Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for efficiency? We are looking for enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Los Angeles, California. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed will directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize handheld scanners or pick lists to accurately locate and retrieve products.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order requirements.
- Stage picked items for packing or further processing.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy to minimize errors and returns.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting the broader logistics team.
- Understand and implement safe Lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Follow all company guidelines for quality control and product handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners or other warehouse technology.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift.
- Capability of Lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to productivity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE and awareness of Lifting hazards.
