We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist in Austin, Texas, to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This critical role involves conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring that all inventory data is up-to-date and accurate within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will be responsible for identifying root causes of inventory issues, implementing corrective actions, and recommending process improvements to enhance overall inventory accuracy and efficiency within our logistics operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Duties may also include assisting with receiving and shipping processes, conducting audits, and ensuring proper storage and handling of goods. While not primarily a physical role, some lifting up to 30 lbs may be required. Adherence to all safety protocols and the use of PPE is expected. Experience with WMS software and advanced Excel skills are essential. We are looking for a proactive individual with a keen understanding of inventory management best practices in a logistics environment. Your expertise will be invaluable in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the integrity of our stock. This is a key position for maintaining operational excellence.
