We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. This general warehouse role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as receiving and unloading shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for outbound delivery. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of performing manual labor, and dedicated to upholding safety standards. We value teamwork and a positive attitude. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment. This is a great entry-level opportunity to gain experience in the warehouse and logistics field with potential for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight.
- Sort and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting of goods.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting and physical tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
