Join our team in San Francisco, California, as an Order Picker! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders within our busy logistics hub. Your primary responsibility will be to navigate the warehouse, locate specified items, and prepare them for shipment. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our distribution operations. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, minimizing damage.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to retrieve items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Be prepared for moderate Lifting of products throughout your shift.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory control is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic logistics setting.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards.
