Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is vital to maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity across our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with troubleshooting and repair, and a thorough understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting. A proactive approach to preventive maintenance is key. We provide a comprehensive safety program and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a secure working environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on all warehouse equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues with machinery.
  • Conducting safety checks and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assisting with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols during all tasks.
  • Identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with the operations team to minimize equipment-related disruptions.
This role may involve lifting up to 75 pounds and working in various warehouse conditions. A solid understanding of industrial mechanics and a commitment to a safe work environment are essential.
