Our Richmond, Virginia facility has an opening for a diligent Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring that all deliveries are accurately received, inspected, and processed. Your responsibilities will include verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, documenting any damages or discrepancies, and efficiently moving received items to designated storage areas. This position is foundational to our inventory management and supply chain operations. You will operate pallet jacks and potentially other material handling equipment. Maintaining an organized and clean receiving area is crucial for efficient workflow. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount, and you will be required to follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE . This role involves regular physical activity, including Lifting items and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic computer skills for data entry are preferred.
