You will be responsible for the safe operation of various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks. Proper handling of goods, loading and unloading of trailers, and transporting materials to and from storage areas are key components of this role. We pride ourselves on maintaining a high standard of workplace safety, and you will be expected to strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Regular equipment inspections and reporting any maintenance issues are also part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Transport raw materials to production areas or finished products to storage/shipping areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and inventory movements.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Follow all procedures for the safe handling and storage of goods.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform Heavy Lifting and material handling tasks.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
