Join our Tampa, Florida team as an Inventory Control Specialist. We are looking for a meticulous and organized individual to oversee our inventory management processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing measures to prevent inventory discrepancies. You will work closely with warehouse personnel to track the movement of goods and maintain precise records. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a keen eye for detail. A strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential for this position. Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items needing replenishment or adjustment.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management.
This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to perform moderate lifting. A background in logistics or warehousing is advantageous. Ensuring safety is paramount in all inventory-related activities.
