Your primary responsibility will be to accurately process and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring a high level of efficiency and accuracy. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations, requiring a commitment to exceptional service and adherence to strict Safety protocols. You'll be handling a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment, from picking to packing.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pick items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning technology.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Verify order contents against shipping documents.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to established standards.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and deadlines.
- Inspect products for defects or damage before packing.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Must be able to manage Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and inventory management.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
