Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Stack and retrieve inventory accurately and safely.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any defects.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, procedures, and traffic regulations.
- Perform duties involving occasional manual Lifting of products or materials.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth Logistics flow.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is worn and utilized correctly.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counts.
- Follow all operational guidelines to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Familiarity with necessary PPE for forklift operation and general warehouse work.
