We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in Boise, Idaho. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately receiving shipments, verifying contents, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. A strong focus on Safety, organization, and efficiency is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately document all received goods and update inventory records.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
- Coordinate with carriers for freight pickups and deliveries.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of boxes and materials.
- Ensure that all team members are utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Support the overall Logistics operations of the warehouse.
- Report any issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting and standing.
- Must be able to handle manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with required PPE.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
