Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This role is key to ensuring the efficiency of our logistics operations by minimizing discrepancies and optimizing stock levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating stock discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. You will work with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and warehousing, to ensure seamless inventory flow. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analysis is highly beneficial. Your attention to detail will be critical in identifying and resolving inventory issues, preventing stockouts, and reducing excess inventory. This position requires physical activity, including regular lifting and moving of items, as well as the ability to stand for extended periods. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all employees to strictly follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on any shortages or overages.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of PPE.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed, which may involve lifting.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform lifting and other physical tasks.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
