Join our fast-paced logistics operation as an Order Picker in Tampa, Florida! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to efficiently and accurately pick customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition. This role involves navigating the warehouse, locating products using pick lists or scanning devices, and preparing items for shipment. A keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a strong commitment to safety are essential. You will be expected to maintain productivity standards while adhering to all warehouse safety protocols. We provide all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and assemble customer orders according to pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Stage orders for loading and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking quotas and productivity goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics flow.
- Ensure all picked items are handled with care to prevent damage during the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures, including proper lifting and PPE usage.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
