Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Houston, Texas! We are looking for efficient and accurate individuals to fulfill customer orders in our busy warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves and packing them securely for shipment. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and is committed to meeting productivity targets. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. You'll play a key role in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and fulfillment area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and wear required PPE .
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
- Support other team members in achieving departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment.
- Must be able to perform consistent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of general warehouse and logistics practices.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations.
