B-Squared Advertising is seeking a full-time *Senior Digital Developer / Designer* to join our award-winning team in Naples, Florida. This position plays a key role in supporting our clients’ digital presence and goals. Applicants should thrive in a creative, collaborative, and deadline-oriented environment.
The ideal Senior Digital Developer / Designer has a curious mind with a desire to innovate, test new ideas, and continuously improve how work gets done. This role requires a balance of creativity, technical skill, and process, along with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team.
In addition to being highly hands-on, this position includes *mentorship and guidance of junior developers*, with the opportunity to take on additional leadership responsibilities as the digital team grows. The right candidate is comfortable leading by example—carrying projects forward while helping elevate the work of others.
*WHAT YOU WILL DO:*
* Design and build best-in-class websites, landing pages, and digital experiences
* Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and themes
* Implement websites from initial design concept and site architecture through final launch
* Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in a collaborative environment
* Ensure websites render consistently across modern browsers and devices
* Ensure all websites are fully responsive and mobile-friendly
* Optimize websites for performance, speed, SEO best practices, and scalability
* Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content for existing websites
* Design, code, and implement email campaigns using platforms such as MailChimp and similar tools
* Maintain high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency across all digital work
* Create original and visually compelling work both independently and as part of a team
* Master each client’s brand and ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints
* Use AI-assisted tools to support development, design, troubleshooting, QA, and iteration while maintaining quality and accuracy
* Partner with account managers to translate client goals into effective digital execution
* Provide technical recommendations, identify risks, and suggest more efficient approaches when appropriate
* Mentor and support junior developers through collaboration, guidance, and code review
* Help establish and maintain development standards, workflows, and documentation
* Proofread and quality-check work prior to launch

*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Strong portfolio demonstrating web design and development experience
* Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
* Advanced WordPress experience, including custom themes, templates, custom post types, hooks, and functions.php
* Experience with responsive, mobile-first development
* Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
* Experience with cross-platform and cross-browser quality assurance
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
* Working knowledge of browser and system requirements across multiple devices
*BONUS:*
* Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) or other performance and reporting tools
* Strategy, creation, and optimization of campaigns in Google Ads and social platforms
* Video editing, animation, or motion graphics
* Server, hosting, or deployment experience
* Experience improving workflows through automation or AI tools

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
