Restoration Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of restoration projects, including fire, water damage, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and cleaning services
• Communicate effectively with clients to assess damage scope and explain restoration procedures clearly
• Schedule and oversee the work of technicians using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to ensure timely completion
• Manage project documentation, including work orders, progress reports, and safety records
• Ensure all restoration activities adhere to industry standards and safety regulations
• Assist in the preparation of job sites by utilizing carpet cleaning equipment, hand tools, and other necessary materials
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to procure supplies such as mold remediation products or asbestos abatement materials

Requirements

• Proven experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning services
• Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration industry tools
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Certification or training in restoration practices is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
