Role Description

We are seeking a motivated Harness Technician who ho takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail. In this role, you will build, route, and test electrical harnesses and assemblies used in advanced aerospace systems. You'll work from detailed drawings and wiring diagrams to ensure every connection meets high reliability and performance standards.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in electrical assembly or harness fabrication who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. You'll collaborate with engineers and senior technicians, learn advanced fabrication methods, and contribute directly to the production of flight-ready hardware.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in aerospace or other high-reliability harness and avionics manufacturing

Strong understanding of first-time quality principles and their impact on mission success.

Hands-on expertise with soldering, crimping, routing, and complex harness builds.

Certification in J-STD-001 (with space addendum preferred) and NASA-STD or ability to certify within 6 months).

Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 workmanship standards.

Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.

Experience training and mentoring other technicians.

Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and execute them successfully.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or technical degree in Electronics, Avionics, or a related field.

Experience leading technician teams in aerospace harness assembly.

Expertise with high-density connectors, fine-pitch wiring, or fiber optic termination.

Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 and lean manufacturing practices.

Ability to train other technicians as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay Range: $25 – $45/hour (commensurate with experience and certifications).

Security & Export Control

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Additionally, this position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
