Charter Bus Driver

Duties

• Safely operate charter busesfor diverse groups across local and long-distance routes
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical readiness
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and safety checks in compliance with transportation regulations
• Collaborate with event coordinators or clients to coordinate schedules and special requests

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport (e.g., P endorsement for passenger vehicles)
• Proven experience in bus driving, including school bus driving or paratransit services preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities
• Knowledge of driving safety protocols and mechanical basics to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting
• Experience working with children or senior populations; compassionate attitude toward diverse passenger needs
• Excellent customer service skills to create positive travel experiences and handle inquiries professionally
• Ability to manage behavior effectively and ensure passenger safety at all times
• SPAB License is not required but is a plus

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
