Dining Services Director

The Carriages at Mt. Zion is growing our TEAM and we are looking for people who have a passion for serving older adults. We are seeking a hard-working, dedicated Dining Services Director for our Senior Living Community. We pride ourselves on having a great TEAM to work alongside and with our amazing residents. Who are appreciative of the details we show in providing quality care and great food options in our Restaurant Style Dining environment.

Maybe you have Dining supervising experience but are looking for something different Working with seniors is a rewarding endeavor that you should check out The perfect candidate will:

• Prepare food items and serve food to Residents within scheduled time frame.

• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made.

• Maintain cleanliness of food service areas, including kitchen and dining room.

• Assure compliance with state sanitation code.

• Order all supplies and maintain inventory control. Verifies of orders received, assuring needed goods are on hand. Ensure that all budgetary guidelines are achieved.

• Supervise food service functions.

• Maintain quality of food served, the quantity prepared and sanitation of food preparation area.

• Maintain clean, neat and safe working environment.

• Assure that Resident food needs and preferences are known.

• Assure staff, Resident and guest meals are accounted for daily.

• Maintain meal service records as required.

• Report problems, concerns, issues observed with food service and communicates them appropriately.

• Observe changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and communicate them appropriately.

• Observe and adhere to all work, safety, and administrative rules as well as all established policies and procedures.

• Records Resident information as required.

• Avoids loss, breakages and waste of supplies and equipment.

• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, worker safety and other emergency procedures.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

This job requires a high school diploma. A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
