Custodian

Bishop Hogan Memorial School in Chillicothe, Missouri is hiring for a part-time afternoon custodial position. The candidate hired will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe custodial practices throughout school. This position is part time averaging 25 hours per week.

• Performs functions that require use of machines, tools and equipment for the

purpose of maintaining a clean and sanitized environment

• Replenishes restroom and other necessary supplies throughout facility as

needed

• Provide routine cleaning for the school, including but not limited to

dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, cleaning windows,

toilets and sinks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions independently from supervisor
• Build collaborative relationships with employees and outside contractors
• Ability to work independently or with a team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Available to work afternoons and evenings
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Related experience preferred
• Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
