Responsibilities:
Execute dishes from the sauté station with precision and consistency
Prepare mise en place including sauces, garnishes, and proteins ahead of service
Ensure that all food is prepared according to Max a Mia's high standards for taste, temperature, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sauté station during service
Assist with other kitchen stations as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient kitchen operations
Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines in compliance with health regulations
What We're Looking For
Experience:
At least 1–2 years of experience as a Sauté Cook in a high-volume or fine dining kitchen is preferred
Strong foundation in culinary techniques, particularly sautéing and heat management
Experience working with high-end ingredients and Italian cooking methods
Skills and Qualities:
Passionate about cooking and committed to excellence
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on consistency and presentation
Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a positive attitude
Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset
