Job Overview
Delta by Marriott Orlando Celebrations is currently looking for full-time front desk agents for our 3pm-12pm shift. This is an hourly role, and our Front Desk Agents play a crucial role in shaping the guest's first impression of our hotel.
This role reports to the Director of Front Office
Pay: $15.50 – $17.50 depending on shift and prior experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinates with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
· Greets and Welcomes guests during the check-in and check-out procedure in a warm and professional manner.
· Handles cash and credit card transactions at the front desk.
· Maintains a professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests and co-workers.
· Ensures compliance with hotel policies and procedures in addition to Marriott's Code of Conduct.
· Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.
· Assists in the use of a guest information tracking system to ensure that a successful repeat guest recognition program is in use to recognize guest preferences and aid in problem resolution.
· Complies with loss prevention policies and procedures.
Requirement:
Education and Experience:
· Hight School Diploma or GED; preference given to applicants with an associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
· Computer Skills - Ability to navigate through multiple different platforms
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must have flexible availability (weekends and holidays may be required
· Excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to multitask, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
· Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skill; in addition to be detailed orientated.
· The ability to read, write and speak in English, bilingual a plus.
