We are a brand new, clinician-focused group private practice in East Setauket, NY, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate psychotherapy to individuals in our community. We're seeking clinicians excited to help shape a new group practice from the ground up, with the ability to work independently within a team, with support from the practice owner. Clinical supervision is included for clinicians seeking licensure to LCSW.

Position Summary

We are seeking warm, skilled, and motivated LMSWs to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional mental health care and enjoys working in a supportive, organized environment where administrative burdens are handled for you. Bonus points for highly organized therapists who work well in an independent setting, with the support of supervision, and without having to handle the hassle of insurance, claims, and the non-clinical aspect of the important work you do Supervision is provided for LMSWs seeking licensure. This is a W2 role.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to clients (adults, teens/young adults)
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in our HIPAA-compliant EHR
• Participate in clinical meetings and consultations as needed
• Follow all professional, legal, and ethical standards of practice
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and referral sources as appropriate

Qualifications

Required:

• Active NYS license: LMSW in good standing
• Malpractice/professional liability insurance (minimum $1M/$3M coverage)
• Ability to work independently and maintain boundaries
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to ethical practice

Preferred:

• Experience with insurance-based outpatient psychotherapy
• Specialization in trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationships
• CAQH profile (or willingness to create one - the practice will handle this for you)

Compensation & Schedule

• $60 per billable session
• 5-15 clinical sessions weekly
• Flexible hours, evening and weekend hours may be required, based on client demand
