Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, and networking
- Manage existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients
- Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize sales potential
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively using strong sales techniques and analysis skills
- Upsell additional products or services to existing customers to increase revenue
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and analyzing sales data
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns for business development
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
Experience
- Preferred experience in outside sales, B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis
- Ability in negotiation, product demos, and upselling techniques
- Experience in retail sales or direct sales environments is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients across various industries
- Ability to analyze market data to identify new opportunities and optimize sales strategies
- Prior experience in marketing collaboration and technical sales is advantageous
