Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued as they enter our establishment. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a knack for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using a reservation system.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
• Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries regarding the menu, hours, and special events.
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, aiming to resolve issues effectively.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host area.
• Support food service operations by assisting with menu knowledge and promoting daily specials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred, particularly within the food service industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A friendly demeanor with a commitment to helping guests feel welcome and appreciated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
