Duties

• Safely operate Class A commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
• Execute route driving assignments with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage delivery documentation accurately, including manifests, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

• Proven truck driving experience with a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Drop and hook only.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
• Excellent navigation skills with the ability to follow detailed routes efficiently. Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
