We are hiring a Remote Part-Time Customer Service Representative to be a first point of contact for clients, residents, and prospective tenants. In this role, you will handle incoming inquiries, provide basic information, route requests to the appropriate team member, and document interactions in our systems.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable on the phone and in writing, can stay organized while handling multiple requests, and is looking for steady, part-time remote work. Candidates with 1 or more years of experience in any customer-facing or computer-based role are encouraged to apply.

(Key Responsibilities)

  • Answer and respond to inbound calls, emails, and messages from clients, residents, and prospects in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Provide basic information about properties, application steps, appointment availability, and general office processes using guidance and resources provided.
  • Gather key details from callers (contact information, property of interest, brief description of issue) and record them accurately in our CRM or tracking tools.
  • Route service requests, questions, and follow-up items to the appropriate agent or property management team member and track them through resolution.
  • Document each interaction clearly, including call notes, outcomes, and any next steps required.
  • Assist with confirming and rescheduling appointments, showings, or follow-up calls as needed.
  • Support simple outreach or reminder tasks, such as sending confirmation messages or follow-up notices using templates.
  • Escalate urgent or unusual issues to a supervisor or appropriate team member in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a calm, patient, and solution-focused approach when speaking with frustrated or concerned callers.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a role where you regularly interacted with people and used a computer (such as customer service, call center, reception, office support, hospitality, scheduling, or similar work).
  • Comfortable using basic computer tools, including email, online forms, and simple data entry.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to ask follow-up questions to fully understand a caller's needs.
  • Strong attention to detail when recording information and updating systems.
  • Ability to follow scripts, guidelines, and procedures while still sounding natural and personable.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and stay on task during scheduled hours.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience in real estate, property management, or home services.
  • Familiarity with CRMs or call-tracking systems.

Pay: $ $32.23 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
