Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance dining experiences
• Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
• Serve meals efficiently while providing excellent customer service
• Manage food handling responsibilities in accordance with health regulations
• Support catering events and special functions as needed
• Maintain proper knife skills and techniques for efficient food preparation
• Contribute to kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, equipment, and supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and timely service

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
• Background in fine dining, restaurant, or catering environments is highly desirable
• Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Experience with menu planning and food presentation techniques
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
• Prior experience in the food industry or culinary field is advantageous
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, with a focus on teamwork and professionalism
